All life and the universe can be seen as an endlessly shifting composite of layers of polyrhythmic cycles.
Programmed using Pure Data, this consists of two tracks of separately generated sounds from a polyrhythm generator and one track of a slowly moving bassline, all using the E Dorian mode. The polyrhythm generated tracks were partly algorithmically generative and partly influenced (performed) by the composer, at both the recording and mixing phases of the project.
