I hate playing in public. I guess I should say that I hate what happens when I actually play in public. I'm terrible. Here's how I see it: It's like asking a superhero cartoonist if they can fight crime or better yet, asking a director if he/she can act. Some can, for sure.. I can't. Well, I can.. I'm just bad at it. I've practiced a lot for short live solo gigs and they've all been disastrous. I like my studio songs.. I like that I can do a new song every day and that's the skill I'm building right now. Maybe I'll be in a new band someday. But right now.. it's me, the mad scientist with poor social skills.
Gino wrote these songs while trekking through the Annapurna mountain range in Nepal. It is a warm tribute to that experience, eclectic and aurally gorgeous. Gordon Bazsali Jr.
