as I was driving around in Chicago
i noticed a very strange thing
i noticed how easy it was to get a parking ticket
and how much easier it was to pay it
it's a conflict of interest
they seem to want us to break the rules that they had made
it seemed strange
and as i drove around the city
i realized
it was in the best interest of the city
that we all broke the rules
we had to break the rules
if we didn't, they wouldn't get paid
(well i realize that they have other sources of income like taxes and stuff, but at 20-50 dollars per ticket?? that's.. that would be bad if no one broke the law.. it would be bad for them)
Gino wrote these songs while trekking through the Annapurna mountain range in Nepal. It is a warm tribute to that experience, eclectic and aurally gorgeous. Gordon Bazsali Jr.
